Your home base is the charming village of Burythorpe nestled on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, close to the Howardian Hills and the North York Moors.
You’ll also be just five minutes from the famous foodie market town of Malton and 30 minutes from the medieval city of York.

All our homes are located within the charming village of Burythorpe, a village we love and live in. It’s also home to a warm and welcoming (dog friendly) village pub, The Bay Horse, which celebrates local ales and serves British classics.

From Yew Tree Cottage: 30 seconds-ish
From Kingfisher Cabin: 12 minutes along a very quiet country road.
Vibrant market town life
Within 7 minutes drive
Explore an eclectic blend of independent makers in and around the market town of Malton.
Known as Yorkshire’s Food Capital, you’ll stock up on hand-made macarons, freshly baked bread, beer (including the famous award winning Yorkshire Pudding variety) and coffee that’s sometimes roasted inside the coffee shop itself.
Malton also has several independent interiors stores for those who like to collect beautiful, and unique items for their home.

This is hands down the best place we have ever stayed. We sat in the hot tub listening to the birds singing, drinking Moet - the salt water made it feel like we were in our own private spa. We stayed for a week and there was so much to do. We didn't want to leave. If this was my house I would never let anyone else stay here!
